Author's POV
SONYA'S APARTMENT :
There was a girl sleeping on the bed bcz it's still 5:00 AM. She was sleeping peacefully.
The time became 5:30 and her phone's alarm went off, so she took her phone, snoozed her phone and slept by turning other side.
But in next 10 minutes it again rang she was about to snooze her phone but remembered she has a really urgent case today morning, so she woke up and went inside her washroom to do her morning chores.
After half an hour she came out of the room and went to kitchen to prepare breakfast and lunch for herself. She was alone in the flat bcz she was an orphan. So she used to do all her chores by herself to save money to buy a house for herself.
Her apartment was 1BHK apartment bcz she was alone, it worked for her. She wanted to have her own home for which she yearned since she was young. So now she has enough money to buy one house for herself which will be 1BHK only. And she want to go and see one house for herself. But she was busy now. So she was forwarding it to another day.
After finishing preparing her breakfast, lunch and packing her lunch, she came out of the kitchen to have her breakfast before leaving to hospital. Which was one of the hospitals owned by Zara Shah(KHAN MULTISPECIALITY HOSPITAL)
She entered her hospital building and went straight to her cabin. She was about to sit on the chair, she heard someone knock on the door. So she sat and let them in.
Her assistant entered inside and greeted her, "Good morning, Dr. Sonya. I came to give you your appointments." with that she gave her the list of patients to her and went to let first patient in.
Patients after patients came in, she checked them, gave them their prescriptions and gave their parents instructions about how to give them medicines and etc.
She is done with her work for the day and went to the orphanage where she grew up "KHAN ORPHANAGE".
KHAN ORPHANAGE :
She came to the orphanage taking all the gifts she took for the children from her car. She took a car for travelling purpose which was second hand only bcz she can't afford new car from a showroom.
All the children came to her and surrounded her, who gave them gifts and chocolates. She loves the orphanage kids a lottt. She feels connected to them bcz she is also an orphan and spent her 14 - 15 yrs in that orphanage with these kids. So she is connected to them.
After spending some time in orphanage, around 7:00 PM she went to her friend's house bcz she called her to talk about something.
SIDDIQUI APARTMENT :
She entered the apartment with some sweets, she has a habit of taking some sweets or sour to whomever house she visits. She can't go to anyone's house without taking anything.
Siddiqui house is a 5BHK apartment. Everyone has their room in their house. One for Rameen's(Sonya's best friend) parents, one for Rameen's eldest brother, one for Rameen's elder brother, one for Rameen and one guest bedroom.
Rameen came to hug her best friend and greet her. After greeting her, she took Sonya to the living area. There everyone were present and she greeted everyone and took her seat on a single sofa in front of big sofa.
"Sonya, beta I have a proposal for you bete. If you are uninterested you can reject directly on my face. But please, consider my proposal once before rejecting." Said Noor-Jahan(Rameen's mother)
"Ok aunty, say it I'll inform you now only if I have any objection", Sonya answered back.
Noor-Jahan stood up from her place, came near Sonya and made her stand with herself. She took a look at her elder son and then her husband, who nodded his signalling her to ask.
"Beta, Will you marry my elder son Rahil?". Asked Noor-Jahan.
And Sonya was shocked for a second then she said, "Aunty, I need time to think please."
"Ok beta, I'll give you time take how much time you want but now let's have dinner first." Said Noor-Jahan.
They all went to dining table and sat to have their dinner. After having dinner Sonya went to Rameen's room to have a chichat session.
Both friends started to have arguments over the rishta thing.
"Rameen Can't you infrom me about this rishta thing beforehand? I would have come prepared what to say? And how to ask some time from your mom." Asked Sonya.
"I too didn't knew yaar what was going in my mumma's mind? She said to invite you to our house so I did that only. After that whatever happened I don't know a thing about that otherwise I would have informed you beforehand only." Argued Rameen.
"Ok, leave it now. Let's talk about something gossipy Meen" Said Sonya.
And they had their gossip session about 2 hrs. After that Sonya left to her house.
It was almost 11 PM when she arrived home and directly went to her washroom, took a relaxing bath, changed into night dress and hit the bed. But she didn't get any sleep. She was thinking about the same thing that is about marriage proposal.
"I don't have a problem in marrying Rahil. Neither I have a family nor I have anyone whom I love, to marry that person. So it's all good for me bcz I wanted a family of my own from childhood which I will get after marrying someone, but why can't I feel that feeling which comes when you meet the right person who is your soulmate and who is made only for you." She was thinking about this only. She fell asleep while thinking only.
NEXT DAY
Sonya woke up at her usual time, did her morning chores and left to her hospital. After reaching she was busy with patients and appointments about their diets. She loved kids that's why she became the pediatrician. She love to treat them.
After finishing her final appointment, she left to home. It was after a long time, she came home early.
SONYA'S APARTMENT :
So she freshened up and sat on her desk to draw something for a new client of hers. She drew 4 jewelry designs beautifully. After finishing it she sent it to her clients, who loved it in an instant and made quick transaction. She was best at what she does. She even decorated her house herself.
After her work, she drew some more designs of jewelry and clothes as in advance if something came up. At the time she finished her work, it was around 8:30 PM. So she got up, prepared dinner for herself and had it. And did some laundry, then came to her room.
She stood in front of mirror in her room and started analysing herself. After some time of admiration section, she went to her table, took out her laptop and started writing something on it. At last she finished her work near 11:30 PM. She got up from her chair and laid down on the bed while admiring street side lamps outside the window. She kept watching till she went to sleep.
Some days got busy for her with same appointments, same orphanage visits and same designing, which she loved the most.
After a week, she got a call from Noor-Jahan, who invited her home. This time she knew why she wanted to meet her. So she was prepared with the answer. She took some fruits and sweets from shop and went to Siddiqui house.
SIDDIQUI HOUSE :
They heartly welcomed her, bcz they knew why she was here. So they took her to their parents room where they got seated and started conversation. After about half an hour Noor-Jahan asked her reply about the proposal. So she said.
"Aunty, I don't have any issues with this marriage as you know a family of my own and by getting married I can get one plus I will have my best friend as my sister-in-law, who will be anything with me but typical SIL. So it's a yes from my side aunty. Abb aage marzi Rahil ki."
Translation : Now it's Rahil's turn to decide if he wants this marriage or no.
"Bht bht shukriya bete aapne haan kardi hamare kaan taras gaye the sunne ke liye", Said Noor-Jahan and hugged her expressing her happiness.
Translation : Thank you so much bete you said yes for this proposal. My ears were waiting to hear this only.
"And vaise bhi jo main kahungi Rahil haan hi kahega uss baat ke liye, he won't go against my decision. Right Rahil? " She asked while looking Rahil.
Translation : And also whatever I say, Rahil will do that only.
"Yes mom" He said just that and left the room. He didn't even look at Sonya's face.
After some chit chat, everyone had dinner and Sonya left to her home, bcz it was too late for her now.
SONYA'S APARTMENT :
Sonya came and sat at the for a few minutes. She was thinking about Rahil's behavior after her decision. It seems he isn't happy with the marriage. But why didn't he say no? Her mind was at these thoughts only.
While thinking she went to washroom and took a hot shower. After showering she wore her night dress and settled on the bed ready to sleep.
I think I am only thinking too much. From what I know about him he isn't like that. He is an extrovert. He would have said it on my face if he doesn't want to marry me. But what if he isn't able to say anything in front of his parents bcz they directly asked me. And I have to give an answer to them. Let it be I won't think about anything now. Let's think another day about it. Now let's sleep. With that she fell asleep.
DREAM :
She was playing in a grand mansion's garden with a 8 - 9 yrs old boy. She was running around him and he was trying to catch her. She was going near pond, so the boy got panicked by seeing her going toward the pond.
"Baby, don't go near the pond. If you slip, you will direct land in water and you even don't know how to swim. You are a sweet and cute baby. Right?"
With that he started to go near her, she got panicked that he will hold her and scold her about not obeying. So she started running and the next second she was in the water.
Sonya shouted and got up from her sleep. She used to get these kind of dreams very often. But recently it got reduced and now from nowhere those dreams started again.
After some time she got up and went to washroom to wash her face. After coming out from washroom, she sat on bed and tried to sleep. After sometime she fell asleep after reciting a lot of duaein.
